SUN AND LIGHT SHIELDING
Hazardous sunlight and light reflection can lead to health related complaints. Therefore good sun and light shading is essential, especially in work spaces with computer screens and interactive whiteboards. The European Union has defined a standard (NEN-EN12464-1) on how much daylight glare control sun shading is allowed to let through. The Aluscreen collection (roller blinds, panel tracks and vertical blinds) contains glare control and light shielding fabrics while simultaneously providing a clear view.
HEAT SHIELDING
To be able to work efficiently and effectively the climate of a work space is key. A moderate temperature and sufficient light are positively associated with consent from employees. Through the high reflection rate of the metalised fabrics in the B&C Projects collection the heat is kept outside during the summer and you are able to save money on your utility services bill. The application of these fabrics has a positive influence on your employees and your energy consumption.
ANTI BACTERIAL
In relation the the many contamination possibilities in hospitals and docter practices, high standards apply to the interior of these buildings. Consequently, anti bacterial fabrics are an important mean to prevent contamination. Aditionally, a number of these fabrics can be cleaned properly, another important standard in a medical environment. The fabrics in the Aluscreen collection are anti bacterial, for example.
DIRT RESISTANT
Dirt resistant fabric have a special coating that prevents fluids to absorped. Additionally, a part of the material in our collection is treated antistatically so it does not attract dust.
NOISE CANCELLING
Noise cancelling fabrics reduce noise and resonance in a room. In large rooms with many people you can hear each other more clearly by applying these fabrics. We can indicate which fabrics are suitable to contribute to the optimum acoustic climate for every room.
FLAME RETARDANT
All fabrics in the B&C Projects collection are flame retardant. Flame retardant fabrics are self-extinguishing when the seat of the fire is removed.
OEKO-TEX
OeKo-Tex Standard 100 is a testing and certification system for textile. The standard focuses on limiting the use of harmful chemicals in relation to the end user. With the current technology and emphasis on European suppliers, about 90% of the B&C Projects collection fabrics Oeko-Tex certified. This is not astonishing since this is the starting point when creating the collection. The logo of the certificate is shown on the applicable collection folders.
